show compliance with the “California Building Energy Standards”.
Why it's important: A study conducted by National Comfort Institute shows that the average HVAC system is only performing at 58% efficiency. Don’t get lumped in with the national average. Prove the high quality and performance of your work with diagnostic testing.

Verified Low Leakage Air Handler is a rating assigned to an FAU by the California Energy Commission. You can search this list through the C.E.C. web site.
EER
EER is an efficiency rating assigned to a combination of the outdoor condensing unit and the evaporator coil. This efficiency rating can be found through AHRI.
SEER
SEER is a labeled efficiency that comes from the equipment manufacturer.
